Frequently asked questions

How do I get my report?
It appears in your portal as soon as the laboratory releases it, and you can open or download the PDF there. If you gave a mobile number, you may also be sent a link.
Do I need an account?
To browse tests and prices, no. To open a report you either sign in to the portal, or follow a link the laboratory sends you and confirm your date of birth.
Is my result private?
Your report is only ever shown to you. Demo Lab records who opened it and when, and any link they send you can be withdrawn.
Can someone collect my sample at home?
Where the laboratory offers it, you can book a slot and a trained phlebotomist will come to you. The sample is processed by the same laboratory either way.
What if I do not understand my result?
Contact the laboratory. A result is read alongside your history and your doctor’s question, not on its own.
How do I correct my details?
Contact the laboratory. Your name and date of birth are used to match your samples and to confirm it is you before a report is opened, so they are changed on your record rather than by you.
